Our Ministries
What is ministry? It is the sharing of the love of Jesus Christ. It is telling our Jesus story and asking others what their Jesus story is.We believe that every Christian is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we minister here in many ways. We worship, study, support others and serve God by serving others. We try to share Jesus in our community as well as around the world through serving missions. We hope that as you become part of our community here, you will join in reflecting the love of Christ through ministry to others.
Methodist Men and Women
Our Methodist Women and Methodist Men work together and separately in local, national and foreign missions. They feed, build and provide support where and when they can. Helping others is part of reflecting the love of Jesus Christ.

Meals on Wheels
We understand that to live alone or with infirmities can be difficult and lonely. We provide meals to our shut-in neighbors monthly. They receive a good meal and just as importantly, a visit.
Children and Youth Ministry
Our young people are important to us. We minister to all ages of children and youth. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM. In addition we enhance our Christian education experience for our kids with trips, such as area youth gatherings and worship opportunities, and local missions, such as feeding the hungry around the holidays. We want your child to be part of our community of faith and to be nurtured in faith.
Bible Study and Sunday School
Part of ministry is spiritual disciplines such as study. We offer Wednesday morning bible study beginning at 10:00 AM and Sunday morning Christian education classes at 9:30 AM. We have classes for all ages and tastes.
Travel Missions
As scripture tells us in the book of James, we should do our faith. We enter into missions both in Costa Rica and right here in North Carolina with our partner Rice and Beans Ministries. We also enter into local missions, by doing repairs, building ramps and offering support to local ministries that serve the underserved such as Fifth Street Ministries. We look forward to having you join us in doing our faith. We believe that missions blesses us more than those served. As our partner Rice and Beans points out hope comes from the inside out.
